We prefer our clients be present at the inspection. This affords the client the
opportunity to actively participate in the inspection, ask us questions and learn
about their home as well as address any concerns the client may have first hand.
Our inspections generally take three to four hours.
Every inspection begins with a briefing and signing of the inspection agreement. The
agreement outlines what will be inspected and the responsibilities of both parties.
Prior to signing the agreement, the client is presented with copies of our licensing
and insurance documentation. Should the client be unable to attend the inspection
we require that a signed copy of the inspection agreement be faxed prior to the
inspection.
While our inspections exceed the standards of practice set forth by the state of
South Carolina, we recommend our clients review them prior to the inspection.
Having a knowledge of the standards of practice gives the client both an
understanding of what will be inspected and what they should expect from their
